Matias Masucci is an Italian born actor, film director and writer. He is perhaps best known for his work as an independent filmmaker.

Biography

Masucci was born in the city of Novara in northern Italy where he began his career as a theater actor while in school.[1] In his late teens he relocated to Hollywood appearing on the television series CSI: NY (2004) and The Bold & The Beautiful (2005).[2] His transition behind the camera began first as a screenwriter with the short film A Short One (2006) and later as a director with the mockumentary short Rotting Dancers (2007). To date Masucci has written and produced half a dozen short films including the award winning happiending[3] which he also directed and edited. His feature length directorial debut came with the film Noise Matters scheduled to premiere in the 2012 film festivals season.[4] Masucci produces his work under the Independent Society brand he owns and operates.[5]
